Paying through Paytide
Who you are paying
You are paying the business named on the page. That business is the seller: your purchase, donation or invoice payment is an agreement between you and them. Paytide provides the page and is not a party to that agreement, so we do not supply, and are not responsible for, what the business sells you.
Who we are
Paytide is a trading name of Mather Software Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17443861), whose registered office is at 31 Mill Fold Gardens, Littleborough, England, OL15 8SA. Contact us at conor@mathersoftware.com.
How your payment is processed
Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 900461). You enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page; Paytide never sees or stores them. Your money goes straight to the business's own Stripe account. Paytide never receives or holds it.
Refunds and problems with what you bought
Contact the business first. Their name is on the page and on your receipt, and they can refund you in full or in part. Paytide cannot refund a payment on a business's behalf, because the money is never ours.
If the business does not put things right, you can ask your card issuer about a chargeback. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights as a consumer, which you hold against the business you paid.
Your information
What you type into a Paytide page (for example your name, a note, or the email Stripe collects for your receipt) is shared with the business you pay. Our Privacy notice explains what we keep, why, and for how long.
Reporting a page
If a page looks fraudulent, impersonates someone, or asks you to pay for something unlawful, email conor@mathersoftware.com with its link. We can stop a page taking payments while we look into it.
Governing law
This page is governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of any mandatory law of that place.
